ITV announce a brand new TV special with Take That, one of the UK’s most successful bands, which will air later this year.

In a TV exclusive, viewers and fans will be treated to performances of their new material as well as showcasing some of their classic hits.

Take That, have a career spanning three decades, selling over 8 million concert tickets and setting the record for the fastest selling tour of all time in UK history for their Progress Live Tour.

Winning critical acclaim for their albums and a plethora of awards including five Ivor Novello Awards and eight BRIT Awards, the newly created three piece, saw their last album, III, go straight to Number One. 

Channel 4 brings back The Job interview for a second series

Channel 4 has recommissioned an extended six-part run of The Job Interview, Label1’s fixed-rig format that follows the interview process for real jobs being offered by real employers.

The show uses multiple cameras to reveal in microscopic detail the terror and triumph of real-life interviews, highlighting every aspect from nervous handshake to potentially life-changing job offer.

Madonna Benjamin, Commissioning Executive, Documentaries for Channel 4 said: “At a time when the audience wants to see aspirational stories of people doing well, it’s great to have a recruitment show on the Channel that offers up the chance to find the job you’ve been looking for.”

Online electrical retailer, AO.com announces it is set to sponsor Britain’s Got Talent on ITV

Online electricals retailer, AO.com announced today that it has signed a sponsorship deal with ITV, FremantleMedia UK and Syco Entertainment to sponsor the forthcoming 11th series of Saturday night hit show, Britain’s Got Talent.
 
The exclusive deal is a first for AO.com and includes on-air and mobile companion app sponsorship plus multi-platform activation over the shows audition stages, live shows including multiple digital assets.
 
The comprehensive licensing package, will see a brand new creative, ‘The AO.com Green Room’. Delivered by commercial production company, The Mob and directed by BTAA winning comedy & performance director, Sarah O’Gorman, the creative will form AO.com’s new idents and will bring to life the surprising backstage moments that happen at the show.

ITV commissions brand new Jack Dee comedy ‘Bad Move'

Bad Move is a new single camera scripted comedy for ITV by Open Mike Productions written by Jack Dee and Pete Sinclair.
 
Starring Jack Dee as Steve and Kerry Godliman as his wife Nicky, they play a married couple who are both on their second marriages and have decided that moving to the countryside from the city is the answer to all their dreams. 
 
They’ve watched all the TV relocation shows and read the glossy lifestyle magazines and fell in love with the idea of ‘getting away from the rat race’.
